GP Skills Forum (13h00 - 16h00)

BPESA will be hosting the Second Round of Skills forums for 2019 during June. These forums will be used to share an overview of the five year Skills Strategy, which you have been contributing to over the past 18 months, to get your inputs to some of the eco-system skills solutions  (such as the future skills platform), and to discuss how BPESA members can engage in the implementation of this strategy moving forward.

The scope of the skills strategy covers the traditional BPO and Shared Services requirements and the requirements for digital skills and workplace skills of the future that are key to the success of the Global Business Services Sector in South Africa. This strategy provides the next level of detail to the current five year sector growth plan that has been submitted through the Public Private Growth Initiative (PPGI) to be included in an integrated sector growth plan, to be reviewed by Government and ultimately adopted as part of the National Development Plan.

As with previous forums, your involvement and contribution in this round of forums will be very important. As a skills practitioner and co-creator of this strategy, you should leave the forum with a clear sense of the goals and objectives of the strategy and the key strategic initiatives, you should be clear about implementation participate opportunities, and be able to leverage this strategy for your own business-specific skills strategy.

The Quarterly Skills Forum will start at 13h00 with lunch and networking from 12h00 to 13h00

We look forward to seeing you being part of the engagement.

Do be advised that BPESA members will be allocated seats prior to non-members.
